ok first of all ,thats Daryl.the Asian in all of my classes.Although Singaporean and Kiasu(haha!),hes really nice.

he knows too much about whats gng on in class..which is a huge advantage when you've had accidentally started daydreaming about what to cook for dinner during a tutorial.

today,i had a totally random night out with Joanne,Melissa and Wei Khai..

or as my flat mates would know them as one of 'lisha's asian friends whom she rather hang out with than us'

so i showed the guy my ISIC(without fear because im ALREADY 18 years old!),but he was like "do u have any other sort of ID? like a student card?"

so i showed him my student card,bt i dont get why he preferred that because my ISIC shows my birthdate and ugly face but my student card only shows my ugly face.

im a huge nutella fan.and because i have no mommy to stop me,i literally snack on Nutella..and finish 200g in a few hours. you know,first time i had nutella was in England years and years ago.i might just Die of Nutella-ness here. yummmmmmmmyy need to buy some more.

serene and carmen both had morning classes

so i forced jason to hang out with me

he took me to see UCL

and then to the british museum

i HAVE to go back!

nearly missed the train !spilt milk during the walk back

we had a little cake cutting ceremony in our kitchen too.

its good to be back with my flat mates.

every Sunday is Flat Dinner where we take turns to cook for each other.

this weekend,a couple of us were away and the flat was quite empty..but tonight,we had every one in again..

im used to Tristan's noise from upstairs,and the british-chatter outside,right before i go to bed.i look forward to cooking dinner and having a cuppa tea in the evening,with my flat mates.the walk through the graveyard still freaks me out though.i can get around without a map,or a phone call.i Finally have a toothbrush holder..and my shelves Finally have books.looking for cases from the internet is easy peasy now,and im having such a good time learning about contracts.goldney hall Is the best hall and im actually part of it!

every day (when its not too cloudy) i stand on top of the little hill and look at the meadows and trees and what looks like tiny cottages far away,

and then i smile,

because i know that for now,this is my Home.

i love my flat.i wouldnt say im very close to them but they're quite a fun bunch and we get along good. after a day of walking and sniffling in the lecture hall,its wonderful just hanging out and chit-chatting in the kitchen.them with their tea and me with my air suam.

missing kl but loving bristol.I DID MY OWN LAUNDRY TODAY.and ive been COOKING for myself lately as well..with a bit of help from the others,of course.

its quite fun (but tedious) to grocery shop and run errands and plan your own meal and take the garbage out and fold your own clothes and cope with homework and hang out with friends,without the aid of the maid,mom,dad or any sort of public transport..

but im still smiling. :)
